Just wondered: how much notice would usually be required for a summer's day visit (and without putting anyone at mbnc to unnecessary inconvenience?)

You're not much more than an hour's drive from our 'textile' home -- we have a permanent holiday place elsewhere in a UK naturist club location -- so it would be great to have a day / a few hours out amidst the tranquillity of summer in Silverdale.

PS: beautiful location, beautiful website!

hI I am a naturist from south cumbria who visits walney island, sandscale haws.  I am planning to go abroad this year with my wife and would be keen to be given any advice on a good holiday destinations near quiet naturist beaches.  My wife and I like quietish evenings (no we are not boring!!) so really big holiday destinations are out.  When we go abroad I hire a car and normally make our own travel arrangements.  By the way you have an excellent site, I walk often around the arnside silverdale area and was not aware of your site  obviously well secluded.  Kind Regards,

I live up in North Cumbria and I work and bird watch in the area on a regular basis and look forward to visiting and camping over when the weather warms up.

Looking at the photos the quietness of the site appeals to me, I can imagine walking around watching birds on a warm summers evening.  

I look forward to meeting like minded people and my wife said she will join me when family allows.

Hi, I live in Lancaster and have been trying for two years to find out about your club then bingo there you are!  Sat naked on top of Clougha at 8am this morning wishing there was somewhere to go for the day!
Been to the dunes at Roanhead last couple of years but would love to have a local to go to. Felt rather lonely up here til now, certainly go all day at Roanhead without seeing a soul lol.
Perhaps I could arrange to visit with you Mike.

I've visited last year for the day for my fisrt time and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I would like to visit again and other clubs in the area for more experience. Can you tell me how do I go about becoming a member so I can visit other clubs in the future. Can you please reply with the details.....thanks

Putting a website like this together takes a lot of effort, so congratulations on a super endeavour -- hopefully, the "temporary" hosting will turn out to be permanent.

We remember Silverdale (and Jenny Brown's Point) from childhood days, and haven't been back for more years than we'd care to admit. We were also blissfully, or perhaps not-so blissfully, unaware that Silverdale was home to a little naturist club.

The image gallery speaks volumes for the tranquillity of setting, just the thing for people who don't always want the hurly-burly of the bigger clubs.

Thanks, then, for putting this special little place "on the map", as it were; hopefully, although we no longer live in the area, we'll be able to join the club and visit.

Best wishes for continuing success and, particularly, for a permanent "home" on the www.

As far as the web presence goes, this is all a bit "up in the air" at present! The original site maintainer appears to have gone missing together with the site password, so I have built this site from what's left - and added a bit. :-) I'm sure that you'll be made very welcome if you  decide to visit. Hopefully I'll be adding a contact phone number soon, but in the meantime you can use this guestbook or my Mixtel email address (on the Links page) or the forum could do with some testing...  I'm fed up of talking to myself. lol!

hi tried to get hold of you on the number given on the web site,then it disapeared [lol]
we are a small group of naturists  which are based in or around manchester.
we are coming up to silverdale/arnside on the weekend of the 18 august and camping.
we are wondering if it would be possible to pay you a visit over that weekend at your naturist site.
their are up to now 4 males wanting to go camping as no females have come forward to join us.
not sure if it would be a concern for your members but the 4 guys are gay, i did check with your website and you do allow single males and females.
would it be possible for us to camp at your site or is it only available to visit on a daily bases, up to now we are one 2 berth caravan and two tents.
we would not be expecting electric hook up, just permission if its possible on your site for overnight stays.

Ashleigh - I've not managed to get the info yet. It should be OK to visit for the day, providing that there is someone from the club there (otherwise you can't get in). I don't /think/ overnight stays are allowed for non-members for security reasons, but I'm quite prepared to be corrected on this. By the way - we don't have electric hookups because we have no electric...  lol!
